REGISTER FOR ONLINE AM YOGA
Camp is truly my favorite part of every year, so it breaks my heart to tell you that—despite our very best efforts—we won’t be able to have camp this year, In Real Life or virtually.
If we can’t bring yoga camp to your Yogis, we’d like to at least bring them some yoga! We would like to offer a morning yoga class during weeks 2 and 3 (Aug 10-14 and Aug 17-21). These are the weeks that we had the most registrants. The class for ages 6-14, would go from 9am – 10am every weekday morning and it would be taught by myself and our co-director Paige Faure. The cost would be $100 a week.
Here are our Online rates:
$225 9:00 am -2:00pm ages 6-14 (siblings $126)
$125 Enrichment 2:30-4:00pm (siblings 50% off)
Supplies kits for ages 6-14 can be ordered on or before July 15th. During Science Week, supplies kits will be $50. For the remaining three weeks, supplies kits will be $25. Supplies kits will be delivered to your doorstep if you live in our area (West Orange, SOMA, Millburn, Livingston). If you live outside the area, shipping fees might apply.

WEEK 1: Yoga Meets Science (Robotics)
Dates: Aug 3-7
Our Yoga Meets Science camps allow campers to observe scientific concepts by conducting experiments, experience these concepts in their bodies through yoga, then apply these same concepts to the world we live in. This year, we’re partnering with James Primm, director of STEM Education at St. Patrick’s School in KC, MO. Campers will virtually program robots over CoderX (ages 10-14) and Lightbot (ages 6-9). They’ll also be building a Rolling Ball Tilt Sensor, Binary Code Jewelry, a Robotic Hand, Model Solenoid and an art-making robot powered by a small DC motor.

Week 2: Yoga Camp — Animals week!
Dates: Aug 10-14
Our Yoga Meets Philanthropy camps teach kids what a difference they can make in the world by helping others. For our online camp, we’ll start each day with a morning yoga class then move right into camp songs and games. We’ll break for throughout the day for outdoor challenges and even thought we’re online, we’ll still be making connections during journal activities and discussions. We’ll also get a virtual visit from some furry friends and creating many crafts — even some aimed at helping animals in need.

Too old to be a camper? That doesn’t mean you can’t still have fun at yoga camp!
Yoga Playhouse CTI’s participate in all the same activities that campers do, but they take on the added responsibility of leading songs, games and crafts under the close supervision of Yoga Playhouse staff. CITs are former Yoga Playhouse campers (all CITs must have attended at least one YP Camp) who embody our mission of cultivating love empathy and respect for themselves, relationships, family, friends and the world at large. You’ll get to join in the pre-camp yoga session with the counselors and exercise your creativity by developing games—such as the CIT scavenger extravaganza—and skits that help reinforce the YP mission.
Requirements for CITs:
- Must be 13 years or older
- It helps if you have attended, at minimum, one Yoga Playhouse summer camp session as a camper. Not mandatory.
- Must complete a CIT application
- Must be able to come to attend the 8:30 am staff yoga practice before camp and stay until 4:30 pm to help send campers off and to prepare for the next camp day!
